Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 a fantastic prosumer camera

If you're looking for a versatile camera, and can be brought to a holiday or other activities, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ00 Digital Camera is really great as your companion. The DMC-FZ200 is a prosumer camera or a bridge-style point-and-shoot digital camera that features a 12.1 megapixel High Sensitivity BSI MOS sensor and Venus Engine image processor to produce high resolution still imagery and full HD 1080i/p video with notable low-light quality.

In combination with the newly-developed 12.1 Megapixel MOS sensor, this makes the FZ200, by far the best choice in the superzoom segment for low light shooting. That large aperture allows it to offer faster shutter speeds at the same ISO settings as its peers, or use lower sensitivities at the same shutter speeds as the competition.

Looking a lot like a scaled-down D-SLR, the Lumix FZ200 takes its design cues from other superzoom cameras. It measures 3.4 by 4.9 by 4.3 inches (HWD) and weighs about 1.3 pounds. A neck strap is included, but I found it most comfortable and convenient to use with a good wrist strap. This fantastic camera is a great prosumer camera with a good price and great packages.  Find out now.

The Lumix FZ200 Digital Camera from Panasonic is Panasonic's latest digital compact camera to offer an f/2.8 aperture across the full range of its zoom. And given that the full range runs to 600mm (in 35mm format), that's saying something. The lens on the FZ200 is a 24x optical zoom lens that starts at the wide angle end as a 25mm and zooms all the way to 600mm. This is an incredible range that encompasses all the focal lengths you could ever need and it offers an f/2.8 aperture at all of those lengths.

Normally, this is something that only high end professional lenses offer, but with this Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens, you can have the speed and light collecting ability of an f/2.8 in an easy-to- use, easy-to-hold compact camera. It's hard to understate the improvements your photos will show, especially zoom close-ups, when you are shooting at f/2.8. The f/2.8 will allow you to use faster shutter speeds at full zoom or lower light and get sharp, blur-free images. Add to that, the Light Speed Auto Focus and 12 frames per second burst shooting speed and you have no reason to ever miss a shot
